Wines Experience. 
We make a little quantity of wines for hobby and for enjoy us and our guests.

During some days from around 30 August to 15 September, every year, you can share with us the "Wines Experience". During this days you can taste our wines of many past years for free.
Do you would like help us harvesting the grapes and  taste our wines? Your partecipation can be help us from harvest to pressing process and free tasting our wines during the experience. The experience is for free, but only the guest of our houses www.hiresicily.com can partecipate.  Please place a early booking. 
The wine experience consist in the following steps:
  • harvest: need 2 hours for white grapes, around 30 August; need 5 hours for red grapes,      around 7 september.
  • crushing: take 2-3 hours after each  harvest
  • macerating: take from 48 to 72 hours after step 2.
  • pressing process: take 2 hours for withe one 4 hours for red one
  • tasting: cheeses, olives, bread with our extravirgin olive oil, other tipical food and our wines during the previous steps.
